01Acceptance of the Terms and Scope
These Terms and Conditions of Use (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the RSchool mobile application (the "App" or the "Service"), developed and operated by Digital Asset S.r.l., based at Via Colombara, 7 — 36030 Sarcedo (VI), Italy, VAT no. IT04223550247 ("RSchool", "we" or the "Company").
By downloading, installing, registering an account, or otherwise using the App, you ("the User" or "you") confirm that you have read, understood and fully accepted these Terms, which form a binding agreement between you and the Company. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not install or use the App.
The processing of your personal data is governed separately by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of our contractual relationship.
02Description of the Service
RSchool is a study support app aimed mainly at secondary school students. It uses artificial intelligence to turn the study materials uploaded by the user (photos of notes or books, PDF files) into summaries, mind maps, multiple-choice quizzes, flashcards for spaced repetition and simulated oral quizzes. The App also lets you ask questions about the uploaded content to an AI-based tutor, through the "Ask the tutor" feature, which answers using only the scanned material.
The Service is offered on a "freemium" model, with a free plan with limited features and paid subscription plans that raise the monthly usage limits, as described in Article 7.
We reserve the right to introduce, change or remove features of the App over time, to improve the Service or to adapt it to technical, regulatory or market needs, as set out in Article 13.
03Account Registration and Age Requirements
To use RSchool you need to create a personal account, either by email and password or by signing in with Google or Apple. The App does not support anonymous use.
You must provide truthful, accurate and up-to-date information when registering and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account; please contact us immediately at info@digitalassetgroup.it if you become aware of unauthorised access or a suspected security breach affecting your account.
Minimum age: you must be at least 14 to use RSchool. The first time you open the App we ask for your month and year of birth; if you are under 14, you cannot create an account or use the App, as described in the Privacy Policy. Giving a false date of birth is a breach of these Terms.
One account per person: sharing your account with third parties or creating multiple accounts to bypass the free plan's usage limits is prohibited under Article 10.
04Licence to Use the App
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Company grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the App solely for personal study purposes, on devices you own or otherwise lawfully control.
- You may not copy, modify, decompile, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the extent expressly and mandatorily permitted by applicable law.
- You may not distribute, sublicense, rent, sell or otherwise transfer to third parties access to the App or to the content it generates on a commercial basis.
- You may not remove or alter any trademarks, logos or proprietary notices contained in the App.
The licence is granted for as long as you use the App in accordance with these Terms and automatically ends upon breach, account deletion or discontinuation of the Service.
05User-Uploaded Content
When using RSchool you can upload photos of notes, books or other study material, or PDF files ("User Content"). You remain the sole owner of the rights to the User Content you upload; RSchool does not acquire ownership of it.
By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive and revocable licence to process, store and transmit it — including to third-party artificial intelligence providers, as described in Article 6 and in our Privacy Policy — strictly to the extent necessary to provide the Service you request (e.g., generating a summary or a quiz).
You represent and warrant that you hold the necessary rights to the User Content you upload, or are otherwise entitled to use it for personal study purposes, and that uploading it does not infringe copyright, intellectual property rights or other third-party rights. RSchool is designed for personal educational use: you may not upload copyright-protected material with the intent of reproducing, distributing or making it available to third parties outside the App.
Your User Content remains private: it is not visible to other users of the App and is never used for advertising purposes. You can delete your User Content at any time from within the App; deleting your account results in the removal of your Content within the timeframes set out in our Privacy Policy.
06AI-Generated Content
Summaries, mind maps, quizzes, flashcards, oral quizzes and the tutor's answers provided through the "Ask the tutor" feature ("AI Content") are automatically generated by an artificial intelligence system based on the User Content you upload.
- A study aid, not a definitive source: AI Content is designed as a study aid and may occasionally contain inaccuracies, errors or oversimplifications. It does not constitute a certified educational source and does not replace official school material, textbooks or your teachers' guidance.
- Verification is your responsibility: you must check the accuracy of AI Content against your original materials, particularly before a test, exam or assessment. RSchool is not liable for consequences arising from sole reliance on AI Content that turns out to be inaccurate.
- No significant automated decision-making: AI Content does not produce legal effects or official academic grades; any use of AI Content in a school or exam context remains subject to your institution's rules and to your personal responsibility.
You may use AI Content generated from your own User Content for your personal study. Where AI Content is derived from third-party protected material you uploaded, any further distribution beyond personal use remains subject to the same limits described in Article 5.
07Subscriptions, Pricing and Payments
RSchool is available in three plans:
| Plan | Price | Indicative limits |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Free of charge | In total, with no reset: 3 scans, 5 summaries, 3 mind maps, 5 quizzes, 1 oral quiz, 20 questions to the tutor |
| Student | €4.99 / month or €39.99 / year | Per month: 30 scans, 10 oral quizzes and 200 questions to the tutor; unlimited summaries, mind maps and quizzes; priority processing |
| Unlimited | €9.99 / month or €79.99 / year | No limits on scans, oral quizzes, questions to the tutor, summaries, mind maps or quizzes, subject to personal and reasonable use (Art. 10); priority processing |
Each scan can include up to 20 pages. Free plan limits apply in total and do not reset; Student limits reset every period, on the subscription renewal date. Reviewing flashcards you have already created remains available on every plan.
Prices are shown in Euro and may vary depending on your country of residence, local currency, and the pricing policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, which will always display the final price before purchase.
In-app purchases and subscription management are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device. RSchool does not receive or store your payment card details; subscription status is synchronised across platforms through our third-party provider, RevenueCat, Inc.
Student and Unlimited subscriptions renew automatically at the end of the chosen period (monthly or annual) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. Cancellation must be done directly from your App Store settings (on iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or Google Play Store (Menu → Subscriptions); RSchool cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf. If you switch devices, you can restore your active subscription by signing in with the same account via Profile → Your plan → Restore purchases.
08Right of Withdrawal and Refunds
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of its conclusion, under Articles 52 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005).
However, because Student and Unlimited subscriptions concern the supply of digital content not provided on a tangible medium, this right of withdrawal is lost once performance of the subscription has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement of the resulting loss of the right of withdrawal, under Article 59(o) of the Consumer Code — consent and acknowledgement that the App explicitly requests at the time of purchase.
Refunds for purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are handled directly by Apple or Google under their respective commercial policies, not by RSchool. You can request a refund from your App Store or Google Play account page. This is without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights available to you under applicable law, including the right to terminate the contract in the event of a lack of conformity of the Service.
09"Invite a Friend" Programme
RSchool offers a referral programme ("Invite a friend"): every user has a personal code and link to share. When a friend subscribes to a paid plan for the first time using your link or code, you get a free month: if you are a subscriber, your subscription is extended by 30 days; otherwise you get 30 days of the Student plan. The reward applies only to each friend's first purchase, not to renewals, up to a maximum of 2 free months a year. The current conditions are always shown in the App, under "How it works".
The programme is reserved for genuine invitations to real people who do not already have an RSchool account. Self-referral (using your own code to create multiple accounts), the creation of fake or automated accounts, and any other fraudulent practice aimed at obtaining undue benefits are prohibited. In the event of abuse, we reserve the right to revoke any benefits obtained and to suspend the accounts involved under Article 12.
We reserve the right to change the terms of the referral programme or to suspend it at any time, giving reasonable notice through the App.
10User Conduct and Prohibited Uses
When using RSchool, you agree not to:
- upload User Content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene or otherwise contrary to applicable law, or that infringes third-party rights;
- use the App for purposes other than personal study, including any unauthorised commercial use;
- attempt to bypass the free plan's usage limits or the App's security measures, including through multiple accounts, automated tools or abuse of the referral programme;
- introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code, or engage in activity that could damage, overload or compromise the operation of the App or its underlying infrastructure;
- access other users' accounts or the Company's systems without authorisation;
- use scraping, crawling or automated data-extraction techniques against the App.
Breach of this Article may result in the suspension or termination of your account under Article 12, without prejudice to the Company's right to seek compensation for any damage suffered.
11RSchool's Intellectual Property
The App, its underlying software, design, the "RSchool" trademarks and associated logos, text, graphical interfaces and every other element of the App not attributable to User Content are owned by Digital Asset S.r.l. or its licensors and are protected under Italian and international copyright, trademark and intellectual property law.
Nothing in these Terms transfers to the User any intellectual property right in the App or its components, other than the limited licence to use it granted under Article 4.
12Suspension, Termination and Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account (or Settings → Delete account). This action is irreversible and results in the deletion of your data, including your conversations with the tutor, within the timeframes described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription, which must be cancelled in the store as described in Art. 7.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with immediate effect in the event of a serious breach of these Terms (including, by way of example, the prohibited conduct described in Article 10), or with reasonable notice in other cases, informing you of the reasons through the App or by email, unless applicable law does not permit us to do so.
Termination of your account does not entitle you to any refund for the remaining subscription period, except as otherwise provided by Apple's or Google's policies or by mandatory applicable consumer-protection rules.
13Service Availability and Changes
RSchool is provided "as is" and "as available". While we take reasonable steps to ensure the continuity and security of the Service, we cannot guarantee that the App will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from disruption caused by maintenance, updates, force majeure events, or malfunctions of the third-party providers referred to in Article 4 of our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to change, suspend or discontinue, in whole or in part, features of the Service. In the event of material changes that adversely affect your contractual rights, we will give you reasonable notice through the App or by email, unless this is not possible for security or urgency reasons.
These Terms may be updated periodically, for example following regulatory changes, the introduction of new features, or changes to subscription plans. Material changes will be communicated to you through the App or by email before they take effect. The date of the last update and the version number are shown at the bottom of this page; continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of those changes.
14Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Digital Asset S.r.l. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential damages or loss of profit arising from the use or inability to use the App, including — by way of example — consequences arising from reliance on inaccurate AI Content, unsatisfactory academic results, or Service disruptions due to force majeure or malfunctions of third-party providers (Apple, Google, RevenueCat, AI services) not directly attributable to the Company.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes the Company's liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other right that cannot be lawfully excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer-protection rules.
15Governing Law, Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another EU Member State, the choice of Italian law does not deprive you of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
For disputes in which you are a party as a consumer, the courts of your place of residence or domicile have exclusive jurisdiction, under Article 66-bis of the Italian Consumer Code. For users who do not qualify as consumers, the courts of Vicenza, Italy, have exclusive jurisdiction.
Under Regulation (EU) No 524/2013, if you reside in the European Union you may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
16Final Provisions and Contact
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable by a competent authority, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect, and the invalid provision will be replaced by a valid one that reflects its original intent as closely as possible.
The Company's failure to exercise any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding use of the App.
For any questions about these Terms, contact us at info@digitalassetgroup.it; for technical support or questions about using the App, write to support@rschool.it or visit our Support page.
